I’m the face you’ll see hiding behind the camera! When I’m not behind the camera you’ll find me adventuring around our beautiful state with my family, on lunch dates with my sidekick (Winnie the dog), exploring for snow, or cozied up on a rainy day with my fur babies. I’m now a new mum to my little girl Poppy.
In 2017 I started my journey to taking my hobby to a career. I have always been passionate about creating a life that will love and not settling for what just comes. That’s where Zara Maree Photography was born. Over the past 4-5 years it has grown into something I could have only dreamt of. From starting in the back room of my home, to our little Moonah studio and now our newly renovated Glenorchy studio. I count my blessing everyday that I have the opportunity to do my passion, capture the most precious memories for so many beautiful Tassie families. Running my business definitely has its challenges but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I have now captured the first moments of hundreds of babies. Educating myself and staying up to date with first aid/ CPR training, vaccinations (Whooping Cough/ Influenza/ COVID-19), and attending posing and photography workshops is my number one priority for keeping all my little and big clients safe. I have obtained a Certificate in Newborn Photography at the Academy of newborn photography complemented by a Certificate III in design fundamentals. I’m consistently finding ways to grow my knowledge and experience.
I absolutely love my job and all the amazing people I meet along the way. My clients are what makes my job so rewarding and special.
